There are many more examples of such releases specifically designed to capture the mind… and wallets of the now 30-40somethings who grew up playing games such as Zelda Link’s Awakening (now remastered for the Nintendo Switch), Crash Bandicoot (released as a new Trilogy with updated graphics), Spyro the Dragon (reignited), etc. Where to begin, from the craze behind the release of the NES/SNES mini consoles by Nintendo to the mega launch of WoW Classic, that’s just a couple of examples of a jam packed with retro/nostalgia releases in 2019. If I didn’t know any better, I would have sworn we travelled back in time or something. (Note.If I had to sum up 2019 in terms of tech it would surely have to be “Retro/Nostalgia Overload”. Help? Like even just referring me to somewhere I can find someone who would know how to work with this would help. I have already asked /r techsupport about this game and they recommended I use VirtualBox, otherwise they couldn't make it work either.
On windows 7 The screen comes up white, I get an error that says "Cannot change resolution 800圆00 16bit" I can hear it but then after that there's a million errors that say "Access violation at address 004A8018 in module 'engine.exe' Read of address 00000000" and when I tried using xp which was a system the game itself asked for it gives me "Gamma control not supported" error before the Access violation error. I installed windows 7 and windows xp on virtualbox and installed several versions of the game and each time it has failed.
(If this is the wrong place to ask about this, please kindly redirect me instead of throwing shade, because I am scraping the bottom of the barrel for options with this)I have virtual box 6.1.26 and have installed the USB 2.0 and 3.0 support expansions and that's it.I have been trying everywhere to try to make an old game I want called Crusaders of Space be playable.
